Meet Chrissy
I'm a specialist teacher and APC-registered dyslexia assessor based near Truro. I've assessed hundreds of children, students and adults across Cornwall and online. My aim is simple: calm, unhurried assessments and reports that make sense, so you know exactly what's going on and what will help.

Free advice call. We talk through your concerns and decide whether an assessment is right. No obligation.

Your assessment. About three hours in Threemilestone, Truro, or online. It covers reading, spelling, writing, memory and processing.

Your report. A detailed 25–30 page report with personalised recommendations, emailed within 2–3 weeks. Includes a feedback discussion
Dyslexia assessment for children, university students and adults: £395
Includes the assessment, full written report and feedback. Payment can be made by bank payment, or flexibly by Klarna, PayPal and Clearpay.

How much does an assessment cost? A full diagnostic dyslexia assessment costs £395, including the assessment, full written report and recommendations. You can pay by bank transfer or secure payment link, with PayPal, Klarna and Clearpay available, once your appointment is agreed.
Will school, university or my employer accept the report? Yes. Reports follow SASC guidelines and can be used to support learning in school, college or university, to apply for Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA), and to help employers put reasonable adjustments in place. Exam access arrangements (such as extra time) are still arranged separately by the school, but the report can support those conversations.
Can the assessment be done online? Yes. Online assessments are available for anyone aged 10 and over, following the same rigorous process as in person. You'll need a laptop or computer with a large screen, webcam, speakers and a good internet connection. In-person assessments take place in Threemilestone, Truro.
What happens on the free call? It's a relaxed, no-obligation chat with Chrissy, lasting about 15-20 minutes. We'll talk through your concerns, whether an assessment is the right next step, and answer any questions about the process, so you can decide with confidence.
